Dr. Newton's Biography

Aaron Newton M.D. is the Medical Director for
DT4EMS and has been instrumental in the development of the DT4EMS
course since 2004. Dr. Newton is Board Certified in Family Medicine
and is presently practicing at the Gainesville Clinic in
Gainesville
,
Missouri
. He graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina and did
his undergraduate studies at the
University
of
Rochester
in
New York
.
Dr. Newton enlisted in the U.S. Marines Corps in 1978
immediately after high school where he obtained the rank of corporal
and completed a four year tour with an honorable discharge in 1982.
He was stationed at the Marine Barracks 8th and I in
Washington
D.C.
Dr. Newton is currently a First Responder, Volunteer Fireman,
and Medical Director with the Theodosia Volunteer Fire Department in
Theodosia
,
Missouri
. He is also the Medical Director for the Urgent Care Clinic in
West Plains
Mo.
and also for the
Gainesville
Health
Care
Center
(nursing home) in
Gainesville
Mo.
